July 2004 was an important month for us. Es was more than 9 months pregnant so every day could be the day. However, Thomas had no intentions of making an appearance so on Tuesday 6 July we went to hospital to be induced. Despite the contractions this brought on Thomas still refused to make a move so in the end he was delivered by emergency Caesarean on Thursday 8 July. This is now a year ago and time has flown by. People always say that but you don’t know the true meaning of it until you suddenly find yourself celebrating your baby’s first birthday. |

When Thomas was still a tiny baby we booked a trip to NZ so that friends and family there could meet the little chap in person. At the time of booking it seemed ages away but before we knew it we found ourselves heading for Heathrow with a 7 month old. |
